Brickyard buffalo guest editor

Happy Monday friends! I am so excited to finally announce that I was asked to be one of Brickyard Buffalo's guest editors. We have been working together for the last couple of months to share with you items and small shops that I truly love and use. The best part is they are all being sold to you at budget prices. Here's a peek at some of the cute items you can find on their website, don't forget to follow along on our Instagram (@alittlejandk) to see how we are styling and using them!

It's no surprise that we picked an item from our dear friend over at Hooray Everyday. I am obsessed with everything they make especially these super cute felt ball garlands. I have one for every holiday, obvi.

My girly girls love to accessorize. Jules loves these floral handmade headbands by Flora and Peg and makes us call her Rapunzel when she wears them. They are some of my favorite headbands because they can easily be dressed up or down.

Ryan and Rose. Probably the number one item we get the most use out of. These are my favorite pacifier clips, they're short, which makes them perfect for those crawling babies so they don't get dragged along the floor plus I love the endless styles and colors available. Kourtney has a pretty impressive collection and has been using these since she was born. We will continue to do the same for Jackson, he already has his own growing collection.

Speaking of Jackson, I'm in major trouble. I am having the best time shopping for all the cute little man things I can find. One of my absolute most favorite things I've come across are these adorable mini boots from Little Bipsy! To die for right? Can't wait to get him and daddy twinning!

Our favorite Brickyard Buffalo finds: mermaid tail / round towel / child robe / baby romper

These are just a few of the items I love, be sure to check out Brickyard Buffalo for the rest and comment below to let us know which ones you love the most!

Happy Shopping!

Persil for sensitive skin

Let’s be honest, it is no secret that the girls and I love Target. So when we heard that Persil ProClean was now being sold there nationwide I was a little excited because that meant life just got that much easier since it’s the only detergent I use for my family. Target has literally become our one stop shop where we can get cute baby outfits, all the holiday decor, dinner for the week and now our favorite detergent. No more heading to a different store just to pick it up.

I have always suffered from eczema and feared my kids would too. So it was no surprise when we discovered that Jules and Kourtney had the same sensitive skin. I went on a hunt looking for the best hypoallergenic detergent for my little babies with really no luck. I had never found one that I loved so I kept trying different ones over the next couple of years. I was determined to find one that had it all.

Here are just some of the reasons I love the sensitive skin detergent so much.

  • It’s gentle on skin, including my toddlers and mine.
  • You still get that stain-fighting premium clean, which we all know we need with kiddos.
  • Just because it’s hypoallergenic doesn’t meant you get gypped on the important stuff, like whitening, brightening, anti-graying, odor fighting, and stain fighting.

Persil doesn’t only make hypoallergenic Power-Liquid detergents. They have Power-Liquid with different levels of scents like their extra fresh linen scent and Power-Pearls detergents that have Pro-White Technology to get those kiddos stained and smelly clothes extra clean. Click here to get a better look at all the products Persil ProClean offers.

littles st.paddy's day style

We are all ready getting festive for the next holiday over there. I was having a good time getting together some looks and shopping for my girls I decided to add in a cute baby boy outfit. If my little guy was here he would be wearing something like this, of course coordinating with his sisters.

another holiday tea party. valetines day edition

It's no secret that we take our holidays, or any chance to celebrate, very seriously. Jules has been counting down the days for "balentines day" for over a week and I wanted to make it extra special and as girly and glittery as I possibly could since this is our last official GALentines day before our little guy arrives in June. As usual these girls slept through breakfast time, which was perfect because I had this fun afternoon tea time planned, complete with pink noodles. They were surprised with some fun treats when they finally woke up, at 9am, and we may or may not have had a chocolate kiss or two for breakfast. shhh. Then came the afternoon tea, lets just say they were over the moon excited and keep reminding me that I am the funest, bestest mommy ever!

I love hearing about how they love holidays and celebrating, the best is that they don't just love receiving surprises for themselves but they truly love surprising others as well! They are the sweetest. Now, to be the best wife ever. These festive girls and I are ready to make daddy's surprise just as memorable.

It's a boy!

I'm going to be completely honest and say that I was in shock when I first heard those words. Not because I didn't want a boy because let me tell you I was praying for a little boyfriend. I wanted one so badly, so much so that I was psyching myself out and doubting my original mommy instinct. When the nurse confirmed it I cried some happy tears, then set in the fear and all the doubts. What and how was I going to raise a son, not a daughter, not someone super girly, but a little man. One that is probably going to hate all the pictures I take, think that my over the top celebrating is embarrassing and one that probably won't want to coordinate with his sisters. ha Really though, all I know are girls, boys are so different but I am so ready for that wild ride. When I hear all the wonderful boy mom stories on how a boy just loves his mommy in a special way; probably the same way my girls look up to their all knowing, can't do anything wrong, super strong can do it all daddy, thats when I get so excited. I want to feel that same special kinda love and experience something so new. I am so lucky to get the best of both worlds! I have my sweet best friends that I will forever get to have shopping and mani and pedi dates with and a handsome little boyfriend that has already stolen my heart and will be the biggest mammas boy, just like his daddy! We are all over the moon excited and cant wait to meet our little (red headed?) guy!
