family day at chuck e cheese's

Some of my favorite memories as a kid was spending time with my family at Chuck E. Cheese's. We would find any reason to celebrate,  I can't even count the number of birthdays we had there. It was a place where we could all enjoy each other's company,  I still remember how fun it was and how my dad was a kid right there along side with us.

It's funny how you grow up and become your parents. I am in my thirties and people think I'm crazy for still loving this place but who doesn't love pizza and games and acting like a kid with your kids? My girls already have the same love for Chuck E. Cheese and constantly beg to go back for birthdays (we just celebrated Kourt's third there), cousin play dates, mommy and me dates, it's over 100 degrees in California - lets get in the ac- dates and it's almost Christmas dates!

Chuck E. Cheese's now has All You Can Play, where families play unlimited games for the amount of time purchased. All parents have to do is buy the amount of time for their families visit and then kids can play any game they want, as many times as they want, without any restrictions. It's a win-win!! Genius right? We love it since we are family with three kids and two adults that also like to get in on the fun.

We recently headed to Chuck E. Cheese's for a mid week family date night, where we did the All You Can Play challenge and tried to see who could win the most tickets in an hour. (see Ryan's Toy Review AYCP Challenge with his family, here) We had a blast! The first thing the girls ran to when we got there was the water race game, Jason ran after Jacks wile he ran through the place like a wild boy, and you could find me standing at my favorite coin game trying to win all the tickets, because I was determined to win! I'm just a little competitive. After all the fun and games we sat down and enjoyed a family dinner with pizza and salad, where Kourt told us how much she loves us and herself and Jules let us know that she really, really, really, wants to be a mommy when she grows up. Those dinner conversations are my favorite.

Doesn't every kid have this exact Chuck E. Cheese picture in their parents photo album? We had to.

In case you were wondering, I won because I pawned the baby off on Jason so me and the girls could have all the fun. Ha! These girls were the real winners though because they spent all those tickets on their favorite candy, some stickers and some matching bracelets. These are the moments I hope my kids always remember, spending quality time as a family, watching their parents act like kids with them, and ditching homemade meals for some pizza and games midweek just so we can make some memories at one of their (our) favorite places.

Don't forget the more you visit, the more rewards you can earn to use on food, drinks, games and prizes! So sign-up for Chuck E. Cheese's loyalty program, More Cheese Rewards by downloading the mobile app on iTunes or Google Play. Also be sure to follow Chuck E. Cheese on Facebook and instagram for up to date info.
