friday favorites

We are in full blown summer mode over here. The girls wake up and ask to put on their bathing suits. They could live outside playing in their swan pool and water beads. They're obsessed. More about them here.

With summer comes lots of swimming. We partnered up this summer with Sunsational Swim School to get the girls some much needed swimming lessons.Sunsational, specializes in highly effective private at home swim lessons and make learning to swim, convenient, fast and hassle free. Both girls don't know how to swim and Jules was literally afraid of getting splashed with water. They have been to two lessons so far and we have officially overcome the splashing fear, she even went under water. We were all so shocked. If you're looking for lessons we highly recommend, follow them on Instagram for more info.

One our favorite snacks these days are popsicles. We may or may not have had them for lunch the other day, shh... These cone molds are so cute and we must have that ice cream sandwich press.

Our summer bucket list included lots of chalk art, per Jules request. We clearly have been having way too much fun. I love it just as much as the girls and seeing them eager to get into a photo is so fun to watch. We recently bought this chalk box, I was like a kid when I added put it in our cart at Target.

Here's a little fact about me, I am a blanket and rug hoarder. I love layering them all over our house. I have two rugs layered in our bedroom and in the play room . I love the cozy feel it brings to the room, and blankets in fun prints like this b&w one is perfect for adding fun to each room.

If you follow us on Instagram you know we love ourselves some June + January. They have the cutest basics that are perfect for mixing and matching and make tripleting your kiddos so easy. My kids live in their clothes because its so easy to put cute comfy outfits together. We will for sure be stocking up soon since Jules will be starting school in September, wahhh. Use code: RACERBOGO, buy one racer tank and get another free! ends July 31st.

How stinking cute are these unicorn pajamas? Let me just tell you, I made my girls' day! Run and get them all!

Happy Friday friends!

Weekend fun

It's officially Friday and I am just sharing about the fun filled weekend we had. That right there should give you some insight as to how busy and hectic my life has been lately. So hectic but so unbelievably fun! We spent most of last weekend together at home as a family. It was something we all need and we enjoyed every single moment.

suit / shorts
We lived in our pajamas for three days. Yup, we have been enjoying three day weekends lately thanks to Jason's amazing paternity leave at work. He gets six weeks to use over the course of a year, so he is spreading it out and taking every Monday off. I know, we are so spoiled. Needless to say we gave daddy lots of kisses, watched trolls on repeat, made homemade burgers, had a mini Target date with Jules and spent most of our time outside. It was the most perfect time together making memories that I hope they will never ever forget. Now for my photo dump... enjoy!

kids summer must haves

Life with a newborn makes it a little harder for us to get up and go like we used to. I'm still a little nervous to go out alone with three since Kourtney loves to run away, like she thinks it's funny. But that's not stopping us from having some summer fun, so we have turned our backyard into a mini water park. We have found ourselves spending lots and lots of time out there. We do picnics, chalk art, sprinklers, play on their swing set, dinners, it's seriously their favorite place to be.  Here are some of my favorites that we have been adding to our summer collection.

Life made easy with my girl, bObi

bObsweep sent us our bObi Pet to review. All opinions expressed are my own.

As a mom of three I am always looking for ways to cut back on the chores. Jules is so fun and is like a little mommy, following me around wanting to help. She is always offering to wipe down her table with wet napkins and cleans up after herself and Kourtney when they are done playing with their toys. If only I can teach her how to do the laundry and wash dishes. I'm kidding, I'll save that as bribery for her teenage years. For now I am enjoying my new best friend, my girl, bObi.
My bObi Pet Robotic Vacuum has been a lifesaver these days. With the kids being so little, two of which still need to be rocked to sleep for naps I don't have much time during the day to get all my housework done. I find the day just zooming on by between nursing, cooking meals, washing dishes, and trying to stay on top of the girls and their toy tornados they are infamous for. I'm sure all you mommies know the struggle. It's been nice to check one thing off my long to do list, especially knowing she just isn't vacuuming my house. Here are a few of the things I love about her:

 - bObi eliminates all traces of furry follicles as she vacuums, sweeps, mops filters, and disinfects the floor all at the same time.
 - You can program her to clean whenever you want. I like to have her clean while we are gone so we can come home to a nice, clean house. How awesome is that?
- bObi already knows how to take care of herself; she auto-returns to her charging station when her energy is low, so you don’t have to lift a finger
- Highly sensitive dirt sensors detect layers of dust, dirt, and grime invisible even to the naked eye.
-Easily cleans over all surfaces like our, hardwood floors, rugs, and tile.

But my absolute favorite thing about her? She gives me a little mommy time. I'm currently sitting on the couch typing this, watching the Real Housewives, and watching by bff, bObi, clean the floors all while my husband bathes the kiddos. Just living the life people, living the life!

cheers to the weekend with ocean spray

We are all cheers-ing to the weekend.

Summer is officially here, if you need us you can find us in our backyard. We love our summer bbq's, pool parties with the little cousins, and all the smore's get togethers. With all that summer fun comes the fun summer cocktails. When you have been pregnant for 10 long months then go straight into breastfeeding your newborn there is very little cocktail drinking going on.

As a stay at home mom of three kiddos, two of which still need my undivided attention, life can get a bit hectic and you look forward to those summer get togethers, getting to catch up with family and friends and getting to adult and take a break from your day to day routine. This summer I will be enjoying all the adult fun with a newborn in my arms, kiddos pulling at my legs, and a mocktail in hand.

Mocktails have been my go to during pregnancy and they are still my go to while nursing. I'm not the best bartender so when I came across these delicious Ocean Spray® Mocktails I was hooked. They are made with real fruit juice and only 90 calories! One of my favorite things about them is that they are ready to be enjoyed straight from the bottle. I like to add some sparkling water but if I need some mommy time I like to add wine/liquor. They come in three different flavors, Cranberry Peach Bellini | Cranberry Sangria | Tropical Citrus Paradise. That Tropical citrus is my favorite, but you really can't go wrong with any of these.

I partnered with  Ocean Spray® on this post, all opinions expressed are my own.

Jackson Jett / Fresh 48

There's something so special about capturing all that newborn goodness. Getting those rolls, the wrinkly toes and that perfect squishy face on camera is something you will cherish forever. When I gave birth to Jules and Kourt I tried my best to capture them the best I could but those first few hours are so hectic, all I wanted to do was cuddle them and to be honest I always forgot to take those "must have" shots. I knew when I was pregnant with Jackson that I was going to get my bff, Lauren Pollard, to capture those first moments of my very first son. I am so glad I went for it because I have the moment my girls were able to hold and cuddle their baby brother for the first time, his head full of hair which is now balding, and those perfectly full lips all captured. If you're thinking about doing a fresh 48 session, splurge on it, you won't regret it. Here are like, 103948575 photos of Jackson. Enjoy!

I could not wait to have the girls burst into the room and cuddle their baby brother. They came early the next day and were so surprised by the gifts Jacks brought them. (You can read more about their big sister gifts here.) But they were even more excited to get their cuddles in. Guys, my heart could explode at how cute and good and obsessed they were. They could not keep their hands or lips off the little guy, nothing much has changed since. ha.

Is anyone still even here after all those photos? Really though, I couldn't help myself, I just love them all, Lauren did amazing. If you're in the Los Angeles, OC, San Diego area and need a photographer email her at Lauren Pollard Photography at gmail dot com. Trust me, she's the best and you'll love her. Lucky you she is offering my readers 10% one session, just mention a little j +k.
