It feels like summer is quickly coming to an end for us and we are scrambling to get in as much family time in as possible. When our summer break first started Julianne and I sat down and made a bucket list of things that we would love to do. We hadn't been in a few years and knew he would absolutely love it. Sea World brings back so many childhood memories for me. We used to go there every summer when I was younger so it's always fun to take my kiddos to a place I once loved. My kids love the shows and sit in awe watching, or sit laughing hysterically, especially at the Sea Lions Live show! It's so funny! It was my favorite growing up; love that it is still there and funnier than ever. They also love the Sesame Street rides and splash pad but the thing that they loved the most this summer was the parade and of course the bubble wands!
The Sesame Street Parade was adorable. It was full of color, music and got the kids up jumping trying to get the attention of their favorite characters. We all loved it! It marches throughout Sea World with all the fun Sesame Street characters like Elmo, Count, and the girls favorite, Abby Cadabby! The funniest was hands down Cookie Monster. The Parade stops a few times and we got him dancing up a storm right in front of us. He had all the kids and some adults dancing around us too.
The parade will be running every Saturday and Sunday from May 25th through September 1st. Sea World San Diego is the first and only place to see this parade in California.
We had a full fun day packed with all the fun. We spent most of our time doing what the kiddos wanted - face painting, eating all the fun food and playing in the Sesame Street section. They got on those rides over and over and over again. Aside from that we did a few shows and the penguin exhibit a few times because they're Julianne’s favorite animals. It was the perfect family day!
